WILDLY CRAFTED, SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

I have a wandering, nomadic soul, but I’ve found my home—and a true artistic connection—here in Ireland.

In my studio, accompanied by Luna the Samoyed and Jade the black rescue kitten (with strictly separate studio visiting times), I work with clay to capture the raw, wild spirit of the Dingle Peninsula.

Jūra means sea in Lithuanian, and that connection is core to who I am. I am an all-year-round sea swimmer and beach walker, embracing the ocean in all its moods—its calm and chaos, its gentleness and strength. This duality mirrors my own creative process and infuses every piece I make.

The Dingle Peninsula is a place where rugged land meets the powerful Atlantic, a landscape shaped by crashing waves, towering cliffs, and ever-changing skies. Storm-washed greys, clear waters, serene pebble beaches, and soft sands create a dynamic, living canvas. Lush green fields, winding coastal paths, and wild grasses sway in the wind, while ancient ruins whisper stories of a rich heritage.

This land is not just scenery—it is an experience, a sanctuary where nature’s untamed spirit inspires awe and invites deep connection.

In the studio, these elemental forces inspire me. The rush of wind, the movement of dune grasses, and the chill of the sea shape pieces that reflect simplicity, motion, and the fleeting beauty of the natural world. The clay carries the story of this extraordinary place, transforming the raw textures of the landscape into functional art that invites you to feel the land and sea themselves.

Jūra Pottery is more than ceramics—it’s a celebration of life, nature, and the joy of handmade expression. Each piece is an invitation to explore the untamed beauty of the Dingle Peninsula and the spirit that makes it unforgettable.
