ABOUT ME

I am a bit of a nomad, a keen traveller and experiencer of new things. I have a background in printmaking, but have transitioned into the world of ceramics since coming to Ireland.
The ever-changing weather and dramatic landscapes of Ireland have inspired this shift in my artistic practice and all echo within my work.
The movement of the dune grasses, the icy chill of the sea or the rush of wind against my face feeds into the desire to create pieces that embody the raw, untamed forces of nature.
My ceramics are shaped by a need to embody rawness and simplicity with a sense of movement and impermanence.
Each piece is a unique celebration of the creation process and the quiet yet powerful force of nature that continues to shape me and my work.
